PACHA BROOKLYN REVEALS OPENING WEEKEND LINE-UP

Brooklyn Pacha has revealed the line-up for its opening weekend, bringing two nights of house and techno to its new indoor New York venue on November 6 and 7.

The opening celebrations kick off on Friday with Loco Dice, Ilario Alicante and HoneyLuv, before attention turns to New York’s house music history on Saturday for a celebration marking 35 years of Nervous Records.

The launch follows the debut of Pacha New York’s open-air venue earlier this summer and establishes a second, year-round home for the brand in the city.

Friday, November 6 will see Loco Dice lead the first night at the new venue.

Known for his underground house and techno sound, the German-Tunisian DJ and producer will be joined by Italian techno heavyweight Ilario Alicante and rising house artist HoneyLuv.

The three artists will officially open Brooklyn Pacha’s indoor space, which has been developed inside the former Great Hall.

The venue combines new sound and lighting production with the industrial character associated with Brooklyn’s nightlife scene, with a more intimate format designed to bring the crowd closer to the artists.

The following night will look back at a major part of New York’s dance music history as Nervous Records celebrates its 35th anniversary.

Founded in New York in 1991, the independent label has built a catalogue of more than 5,000 releases and played a longstanding role in the development of house music in the city and beyond.

For its anniversary celebration on Saturday, November 7, Nervous Records will bring together Louie Vega, Oscar G, Anané and Will Automagic of The Carry Nation, alongside a special surprise guest.

Bringing the anniversary back to New York also connects Brooklyn Pacha’s opening weekend with the city’s own house music heritage, pairing the venue’s new chapter with a label that has been part of its dance music culture for more than three decades.

Brooklyn Pacha follows the launch of Pacha New York’s open-air venue earlier this year, with the two spaces designed to offer different sides of the brand’s programming.

While the open-air venue focuses on larger-scale outdoor productions, Brooklyn Pacha will operate year-round as a more intimate indoor space.

Its opening weekend brings those ideas together across two nights: one focused on contemporary international house and techno, and another celebrating the New York label culture that helped shape the scene.

Brooklyn Pacha officially opens on Friday, November 6 with Loco Dice, Ilario Alicante and HoneyLuv, followed by Nervous Records’ 35th anniversary celebration with Louie Vega, Oscar G, Anané, Will Automagic and a special guest on Saturday, November 7.
