CHRIS STUSSY BECOMES CHRIS STASSY
Dutch DJ and producer Chris Stussy has officially changed his artist name to Chris Stassy, replacing the “U” with an “A” across his social media and streaming profiles. The reason behind the change has not been revealed, but the artist assured fans that it remains the same music and sound as he enters a new chapter.
TECHNICS REVEALS LIMITED-EDITION SL-1200
Technics has unveiled a special SL-1200 55th Anniversary Edition celebrating more than five decades of one of DJ culture’s most recognisable turntables. Limited to 12,000 units worldwide, the model will arrive in seven colourways with gold detailing, an individually numbered anniversary badge and a global release planned for September.
MIXMAG UAE AND USHUAÏA LAUNCH IBIZA GIVEAWAY
Mixmag UAE has teamed up with Ushuaïa to offer two people a five-day escape to Ibiza, including flights, hotel accommodation and entry to Hï Ibiza, Ushuaïa Ibiza and UNVRS. COVE BEACH RETURNS THIS SEPTEMBER
Cove Beach at JBR will welcome guests back in September after closing from July 1 to August 31 for its seasonal summer break. The reopening marks the return of its beachfront days, sunset sessions and events as Dubai’s outdoor season begins again.
TATTU DUBAI REOPENS ITS DOORS
Tattu Dubai is preparing to reopen at Ciel Dubai Marina this September, marking a new chapter for the modern Asian dining destination. The restaurant and bar will return on Level 74, while the Tattu Sky Lounge and terrace will reopen on Level 81 with panoramic views, sunset experiences and late-night DJ sessions.
&ME JOINS THE PACHA ICONS LINE-UP
Keinemusik member &ME has been announced for Pacha ICONS at Playa Pacha, FIVE LUXE JBR, on December 5. Known for his deep, atmospheric productions and globally recognised sets, the German DJ and producer becomes the latest international name added to the series.
ADRIATIQUE ANNOUNCE DUBAI SHOW
Swiss electronic duo Adriatique are heading back to Dubai for another highly anticipated performance. Known for blending melodic house and techno with immersive production, the duo’s return adds another major international booking to Dubai’s upcoming electronic music calendar.
