Spotify Removes Tracks in AI Crackdown
Spotify has stepped up its fight against AI-generated spam, revealing that it removed more than 75 million spam tracks from the platform within a year. The crackdown targets mass uploads, impersonations and other content created to manipulate streams and royalty payments.
The platform is also strengthening its rules around unauthorised vocal deepfakes and introducing labels for AI-created artist personas. Spotify says the goal is to improve transparency without penalising musicians who use AI responsibly as part of their creative process.
Tomorrowland Teases Las Vegas and Ibiza for 2027
Tomorrowland has teased Las Vegas and Ibiza as destinations for 2027 after both locations appeared on signage at DreamVille. The reveal suggests that the festival brand is preparing to expand its global presence even further.
However, Tomorrowland has not yet confirmed any dates or revealed what form the events could take. Fans are already speculating about everything from new festival editions to residencies and immersive branded shows.
Music On Announced for November 20 at Playa Pacha
Marco Carola will bring Music On back to Dubai on November 20 as part of the Pacha ICONS series at Playa Pacha, FIVE LUXE JBR. The event will mark the final chapter of the venue’s exclusive four-date Music On series this season.
Carola will be joined by Chris Stussy, Ilario Alicante and Da Vid for an open-air night of house and techno overlooking the Dubai coastline. The event begins at 7 PM and is expected to continue until 3 AM.
Wynn Al Marjan Island Opening Date Revealed
Wynn Al Marjan Island is officially expected to open in Ras Al Khaimah in September 2027. Located on a 60-hectare island, the multibillion-dollar development is set to become one of the UAE’s biggest new luxury and entertainment destinations.
The resort will feature premium accommodation, restaurants, nightlife, entertainment and the UAE’s first licensed commercial gaming venue. Its arrival is expected to significantly strengthen Ras Al Khaimah’s position as an international tourism destination.
Zuma Beach House Is Coming to Jumeirah 1
Zuma is expanding its UAE presence with a new beachside concept arriving in Jumeirah 1 in 2027. Overlooking the Port de La Mer marina, Zuma Beach House will become the brand’s second Dubai location and its third venue in the UAE.
Plans include a swimming pool with daybeds, a sea-facing lounge, private beachfront access and resident DJs playing throughout the day. Guests can also expect Zuma’s signature contemporary Japanese menu and cocktails in a more relaxed coastal setting.
