PUMA’S ICONIC SUEDE GETS A NEW LOOK WITH THE SUEDE BLOOM
The latest chapter of PUMA’s “Never Not Suede” campaign brings pearls, satin laces and softer colourways to the silhouette first introduced in 1968
PUMA is giving one of its most recognisable sneakers a fresh update with the launch of the Suede Bloom, the latest release from the brand’s ongoing “Never Not Suede” campaign.
Arriving across the Middle East on August 13, 2026, the new edition puts a softer, more feminine spin on the classic PUMA Suede while staying true to the silhouette that has moved through generations of fashion, music and subculture since its introduction in 1968.
Reinvention has always been central to the PUMA Suede. Over the decades, the sneaker has evolved alongside different cultural movements and styles while maintaining the instantly recognisable design that made it a classic.
For Suede Bloom, PUMA introduces faux pearl detailing, alongside interchangeable satin and frilled laces, transforming familiar elements of the shoe with a more playful finish.
The collection arrives in three understated colourways — Powder Pink, Vintage Cream and Black — offering different interpretations of the new design while keeping the focus on versatility and individual styling.
To bring the Suede Bloom campaign to life in the Middle East, PUMA has collaborated with a selection of regional creatives and style personalities, including sisters Rania, Dania and Talia Fawaz.
Each talent brings their own approach to styling the sneaker, reflecting the wider idea behind the collection: taking an iconic silhouette and making it your own.
The accompanying campaign imagery explores themes of individuality and togetherness, pairing the Suede Bloom with whimsical styling intended to capture a sense of spontaneity and lightness.
First introduced in 1968, the PUMA Suede has remained a fixture across fashion and popular culture for more than five decades.
Its ability to move between different generations, communities and subcultures has become an important part of the sneaker’s identity, with Suede Bloom representing the latest evolution of a design that continues to be reinterpreted.
This time, PUMA uses the idea of “blooming” both as a seasonal reference and as a form of personal expression, encouraging wearers to customise and style the sneaker in their own way.
The PUMA Suede Bloom is available across the Middle East from August 13, 2026, via PUMA’s online store and selected PUMA retail locations.
