SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA SET TO CLOSE THE SEASON AT USHUAÏA DUBAI HARBOUR ON 16 MAY
Swedish House Mafia return to Dubai this May to headline the official season closing of Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour
Global supergroup Swedish House Mafia is set to make a highly anticipated return to Dubai this May, headlining the official season closing of the Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience in what is expected to be one of the region’s most significant electronic music events of the year.
The GRAMMY-nominated trio — Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso — will bring their globally celebrated live production to the iconic waterfront venue, transforming Dubai Harbour into a large-scale immersive spectacle. The announcement follows closely behind news of the group’s return to Ushuaïa Ibiza as 2026 season residents, where they will perform every Sunday from June 28 to September 13.
Marking the grand finale of the Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience season, the May event promises architectural-scale staging, cinematic visuals and the unmistakable energy that has defined Swedish House Mafia’s career for more than a decade. Known for bridging underground club culture with arena-level production, the trio have continually reshaped the global dance music landscape since forming in 2008.
From becoming the first electronic act to sell out Madison Square Garden to headlining Coachella’s main stage, Swedish House Mafia have long operated at the forefront of global electronic music. Their return to Dubai signals a major moment for the region’s live entertainment scene, reinforcing the city’s status as a key stop on the international touring circuit.
The upcoming performance will also showcase the trio’s bold new visual identity as part of their 3.0 era. Fans can expect a striking brutalist aesthetic paired with cinematic production drawing inspiration from fashion and architecture — an evolution already seen across recent global shows, transforming each performance into a full cultural moment rather than a traditional DJ set.
Created by The Night League and Studio A by Addmind Hospitality, Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience continues to cement its position as one of the region’s leading live music destinations. This season has already welcomed headline performances from Adriatique, Anyma, Black Coffee, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Francis Mercier and Monolink, delivering world-class production against Dubai’s skyline with sunset views and state-of-the-art visuals by High Scream.
The May closing event will bring the season to a spectacular finish, uniting global dance music culture with Dubai’s dynamic energy for one final, unforgettable open-air celebration.
