TOKA MUSIK & ALPHATHETA PRESENT GROOVECAT – THE WORKSHOP
An immersive day of music, creativity, and community at HIVE JVC, Dubai.
Toka Musik, in collaboration with AlphaTheta, is bringing a new kind of creative experience to Dubai with Groovecat – The Workshop, an immersive full-day event dedicated to music production, collaboration, and culture.
Taking place on Saturday, November 15th at HIVE JVC, the event celebrates the launch of the AlphaTheta Chordcat, inviting artists, producers, and music lovers for a hands-on day of learning, networking, and sound exploration from 2pm to 9pm.
The event features two intimate production workshops led by acclaimed Lebanese producer and mentor Hrag Mikkel, offering direct, practical insight into unlocking creative potential with the AlphaTheta Chordcat.
With just 20 spots available, these sessions promise an up-close experience with one of the region’s most respected creative minds.
Adding a dose of artistry and inspiration, world-renowned violinist and producer Andre Soueid will host a live conversation on merging classical technique with contemporary electronic sound, exploring how discipline and emotion can coexist in modern production.
As the sun sets, Groovecat shifts to a rooftop celebration powered by Feedasoul Records and Hence MGMT, featuring sets from regional favourites Omar Fayyad, Patch, and Kurls.
Downstairs, a DJ Corner showcase will give attendees the chance to explore AlphaTheta’s latest gear and connect with other creators through spontaneous jam sessions and demonstrations.
For Toka Musik, this marks another step in bridging global brands with regional talent. For AlphaTheta, it’s a statement of intent – putting next-generation tools directly in the hands of the producers shaping the future of Middle Eastern music.
