INTRODUCING PARVANÉ: THE DUBAI DJ BREAKING GENRE BOUNDARIES
From opening for Peggy Gou to playing Paris Fashion Week, French-Iranian DJ Parvané is carving out her own space in electronic music.
Dubai-based DJ Parvané is making a name for herself with a genre-fluid approach that refuses to be boxed in. Blending house, disco, breakbeat, garage, soul and deeper electronic sounds, the French-Iranian selector has built her identity around musical curiosity and unexpected discoveries.
Born in Bordeaux and raised in Dubai since 2008, Parvané’s journey began at 17 after watching two female DJs perform at a party in London. Inspired to start mixing, she developed a passion for digging through music and sharing overlooked tracks with new audiences.
Her career has already seen several standout moments, including opening for Peggy Gou at Louvre Abu Dhabi and performing during Paris Fashion Week, bringing together her love for music and fashion.
Now 27, Parvané is focused on expanding beyond the UAE, exploring music production and continuing to develop a sound that feels entirely her own. For her, the excitement lies in discovering something unexpected and bringing it to the dancefloor.
