LAUREANO & SAM OUI DEBUT EP ‘THEY WANT HOUSE’ REMIXED BY ROGER SANCHEZ
Blending Afro, Latin and tech-house influences, Laureano & Sam Oui’s drop their debut EP
From Marbella and the French Riviera to their current base between Dubai and Ibiza, Laureano and Sam Oui step into a new chapter with the release of their debut collaborative EP They Want House, landing March 13 via Stealth Records.
Born out of a creative partnership that first took shape in Dubai, the project captures the duo’s globally influenced sound, a fusion of cultures, rhythms and club-driven energy shaped by their experiences across some of the world’s most iconic party destinations. The EP blends old-school house textures with Afro, Latin and modern tech-house elements, resulting in a sound that feels both organic and primed for the dancefloor.
A defining moment on the EP comes with a remix of Piden House by Roger Sanchez. The GRAMMY Award-winning house icon brings his signature sound to the release, adding rolling percussion and classic house energy that pushes the track firmly into peak-time territory. Beyond its impact on the record itself, the collaboration highlights an important dynamic within the electronic music industry, the role established artists play in championing talent.
By reworking a track from rising producers, figures like Sanchez help bridge generations within dance music, offering visibility, credibility and access to wider audiences. For upcoming artists, this kind of support can be transformative, accelerating growth while reinforcing the collaborative spirit that has long defined house music culture. For Laureano and Sam Oui, the remix stands as both a milestone and a validation of their evolving sound.
The duo have already begun building global momentum. Their remix of Justin Timberlake’s Señorita surpassed one million streams within its first month, highlighting their ability to bridge genres and generations. On the live circuit, they’ve delivered closing sets at Pacha Ibiza and performed across Marbella and Dubai’s leading venues, bringing a polished yet high-energy approach to every set.
