PACHA NEW YORK USHERS IN A CULTURAL REVIVAL AT THE HEART OF BROOKLYN

Brooklyn is preparing for a cultural resurgence. In February 2026, one of New York’s most iconic dance destinations enters a bold new chapter as Pacha New York, reimagining the former Brooklyn Mirage as a global cultural platform deeply connected to the borough’s artistic DNA

More than a venue, Pacha New York represents a revival of dance culture in a city synonymous with artistic rebellion, diversity, and musical innovation. Designed as a meeting point for global icons, underground pioneers, and New York’s creative communities, the space positions itself at the intersection of music, movement, and human connection.

The transformation follows a long-term agreement in which FIVE Holdings assumes full operational management of the Brooklyn Mirage and The Great Hall complex. The partnership unites Avant Gardner’s locally rooted legacy with Pacha’s globally recognised expertise in creating culturally defining nightlife destinations, marking the next evolution of a brand that has shaped dancefloor culture worldwide for more than five decades.

From June through October 2026, Pacha New York will debut its inaugural season with world-class programming that places international headliners alongside homegrown talent. The lineup reflects the diversity and experimentation shaping contemporary electronic music, featuring some of the world’s most sought-after electronic artists, Grammy-winning performers, and large-scale productions rarely seen in New York City, delivered with the production ambition the culture demands.

Beyond the summer season, the soon-to-be upgraded Great Hall will operate year-round as a multi-genre arena for live acts and next-generation sounds. While the venue’s reach is undeniably global, its heartbeat remains distinctly Brooklyn, supported by ongoing partnerships with local artists, collectives, and promoters that keep the space rooted in the community that built its legacy.

For FIVE Holdings, the move into New York represents more than expansion. Chairman and Chief Executive Kabir Mulchandani describes the city as a defining chapter in the group’s global journey — a place that influences how the world thinks, creates, and connects — and a statement of long-term ambition to build destinations with cultural impact beyond their physical walls.

The transition follows the resolution of key matters related to Avant Gardner’s Chapter 11 process, enabling the handover to FIVE and Pacha to move forward in earnest. Industry stakeholders have welcomed the partnership, highlighting its role in restoring the venue as a beloved destination for music fans while elevating it to new creative and operational heights.

At its core, Pacha New York is built on a simple idea: nightlife can be culturally meaningful, globally connected, and locally rooted all at once. It is a stage for artists, a home for music lovers, and the next chapter in a legacy defined by more than 50 years of dancing together.

As Pacha New York opens its doors, it does so not just as a venue, but as a cultural statement, honoring the past, energized by the present, and built for the future of global dance culture.
