SUPERGOOOD BRINGS A NEW LIVE MUSIC GAME SHOW TO DUBAI
Created by a collective of Dubai-based DJs and creatives, the new twice-monthly concept combines music trivia, live entertainment and audience participation at Pepperoni Comedy Club
Dubai’s music community has a new place to put its knowledge to the test, as SUPERGOOOD launches a live game show built around music, pop culture and friendly competition.
Created by a collective of Dubai-based DJs and creatives, the concept officially launched on October 20 at Pepperoni Comedy Club, taking the traditional music quiz format and turning it into an interactive live show.
Four contestants go head-to-head across a series of rounds testing everything from musical memory and artist knowledge to samples, lyrics and producer tags — with the audience getting involved along the way.
SUPERGOOOD moves across genres including hip-hop, R&B and pop, mixing familiar tracks with less obvious musical references.
Games include Name That Tune, Sample Detective and Music Trivia, with each round designed to test a different side of the contestants’ music knowledge.
But the competition isn’t limited to the four people on stage. Audience participation forms a major part of each edition, with interactive games and spontaneous moments giving the crowd opportunities to join in throughout the night.
DJs provide the soundtrack while the show’s host brings comedy and friendly rivalry into the mix. SUPERGOOOD has also collaborated with eyewear brand SWEY Collective on selected episodes, introducing giveaways for the audience.
Behind SUPERGOOOD is a group of DJs and creatives with more than 15 years of experience across Dubai’s music and entertainment scene.
The concept was created as an alternative way for the city’s music community to come together outside the traditional club setting — giving people a space to connect over favourite tracks, argue over music knowledge and put their credentials to the test.
Following its October debut, SUPERGOOOD will return twice a month at Pepperoni Comedy Club. Winners from previous editions will eventually be brought back together to compete in a season finale.
SUPERGOOOD takes place twice monthly at Pepperoni Comedy Club in Dubai. Doors open at 7PM, with the show running from 8PM until 9:30PM. Tickets are available via Tick.it.
