November is stacked with electronic music across the UAE, with some of house, techno and melodic electronic music’s biggest names landing in the region. From beachfront sessions and open-air shows to late-night club sets, here are the artists worth having on your radar this month.

PARAÍSO BY AMAZÓNICO — AARON SEVILLA — NOVEMBER 5

Mexican DJ and producer Aaron Sevilla heads to Paraíso by Amazónico as the venue celebrates its fresh new look. Known for a sound rooted in Afro and Latin-influenced house, Sevilla brings his percussion-heavy selections to Dubai on November 5.

BÂOLI DUBAI — LAZARE — NOVEMBER 6

French DJ and producer LAZARE takes over Bâoli Dubai on November 6. Blending house with Afro and melodic influences, his appearance forms part of the J1 Beach venue’s winter programme of international guests and residents.

BOHEMIA & THE PENTHOUSE — JONAS BLUE — NOVEMBER 7

Jonas Blue pulls double duty at FIVE Palm Jumeirah on November 7, appearing at both Bohemia and The Penthouse. The British DJ and producer is behind global hits including ‘Fast Car’ and ‘Perfect Strangers’, bringing his crossover electronic sound to two of the hotel’s venues in one day.

DEEP HOUSE BIBLE, BE BEACH — AHMED SPINS, DESIREE, GAWDAT & SAMM — NOVEMBER 7

Ahmed Spins brings Deep House Bible to Be Beach on November 7, joined by DESIREE, Egyptian duo Gawdat and Moroccan DJ and producer Samm. Expect a line-up moving through deep, Afro and melodic house sounds against the Dubai Harbour backdrop.

PLAYA PACHA — ANOTR — NOVEMBER 13

Dutch duo ANOTR return to Dubai for a headline show at Playa Pacha on November 13. Known for combining house with funk, soul and live instrumentation, the pair have become one of the most recognisable acts in contemporary house music.

SOHO GARDEN MEYDAN — JOSEPH CAPRIATI — NOVEMBER 13

Italian DJ and producer Joseph Capriati lands at Soho Garden Meydan on November 13. A longstanding figure in the European underground, Capriati’s sets move between driving techno and groove-led house, backed by years of appearances at some of the world’s biggest clubs and festivals.

THE GARDEN, SURF ABU DHABI — CLAPTONE & GROOVE ARMADA — NOVEMBER 13

Claptone and Groove Armada head to Abu Dhabi for an open-air show at The Garden, Surf Abu Dhabi. Groove Armada bring nearly three decades of electronic music history, while masked selector Claptone takes over later in the night, with James Greene, Decembr12 and Kinsell also on the bill.

BÂOLI DUBAI — KASANGO — NOVEMBER 13

South African DJ and producer KASANGO arrives at Bâoli Dubai on November 13. Known for soulful melodies and hypnotic Afro house, he joins the venue’s growing winter programme at J1 Beach.

USHUAÏA DUBAI HARBOUR EXPERIENCE — ADRIATIQUE, BEN BÖHMER, RIVO & CCINNI — NOVEMBER 14

Adriatique bring their immersive X concept back to Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience on November 14, joined by Ben Böhmer, RIVO and CCINNI. The Swiss duo return for a third consecutive year, combining their melodic sound with the large-scale visual production that has taken X around the world.

BOHEMIA — ALEX WANN & SONA — NOVEMBER 14

Alex Wann and SONA take over Bohemia at FIVE Palm Jumeirah on November 14. Both artists have emerged as key names within the current Afro and melodic house movement, making this a strong sunset-to-night session on West Palm Beach.

BÂOLI DUBAI — STAVROZ — NOVEMBER 14

Belgian four-piece Stavroz bring Euphoria to life at Bâoli Dubai on November 14. Known for combining organic instrumentation with atmospheric electronic production, the group brings a live-focused approach to the venue’s Saturday concept.

PLAYA PACHA — MARCO CAROLA, CHRIS STASSY, ILARIO ALICANTE & DA VID — NOVEMBER 20

Marco Carola leads a heavyweight line-up at Playa Pacha on November 20 alongside Chris Stussy, Ilario Alicante and Da Vid. Expect a night firmly rooted in house and techno, bringing together several generations of European club culture at FIVE LUXE JBR.

BOHEMIA — MK — NOVEMBER 21

House heavyweight MK takes over Bohemia on November 21. The Detroit-born producer has spent decades shaping house music, with tracks including ‘17’ and his remix of Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ becoming major crossover records.

THE PENTHOUSE — ILARIO ALICANTE — NOVEMBER 21

One night after appearing alongside Marco Carola at Playa Pacha, Ilario Alicante heads to The Penthouse at FIVE Palm Jumeirah on November 21. The Italian selector brings his techno-driven sound to the rooftop for another late-night Dubai session.

MoBlack joins Bâoli Dubai’s second anniversary celebrations on November 21. The DJ, producer and label founder has been a major figure in the growth of Afro house internationally, bringing his deep, percussion-led sound to J1 Beach after dark.

BÂOLI DUBAI — SATORI — NOVEMBER 21

Satori also joins Bâoli’s second anniversary on November 21, bringing a contrasting live electronic approach to the celebrations. His performances combine organic instrumentation with hypnotic electronic production, creating a sound that moves beyond a conventional DJ set.

BLA BLA BY MCGETTIGAN’S — SYNTHONY × FAITHLESS SOUND SYSTEM FEATURING SISTER BLISS — NOVEMBER 21

SYNTHONY joins forces with Faithless Sound System featuring Sister Bliss at Bla Bla by McGettigan’s on November 21. The show brings electronic anthems into a large-scale live setting, combining DJs and orchestral elements with the catalogue of one of British electronic music’s most influential acts.

SOHO GARDEN MEYDAN — BORIS BREJCHA — NOVEMBER 27

Boris Brejcha returns to Dubai for a headline show at Soho Garden Meydan on November 27. The German producer and DJ, known for his signature mask and self-described ‘high-tech minimal’ sound, brings his distinctive take on techno back to the city.

Toolroom Records founder Mark Knight takes over Bâoli Dubai on November 27. A fixture of house music for more than two decades, the British DJ and producer brings his groove-heavy club sound to J1 Beach for the venue’s Friday programme.

USHUAÏA DUBAI HARBOUR EXPERIENCE — ARTBAT, MISS MONIQUE, R3HAB & 7 SKIES — NOVEMBER 28

ARTBAT lead another huge Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience line-up on November 28, joined by Miss Monique, R3HAB and 7 SKIES. The night moves across melodic house and techno into more mainstage electronic territory, bringing four internationally recognised acts together at Dubai Harbour.

HIVE, SOHO GARDEN MEYDAN — SARA LANDRY — NOVEMBER 28

Sara Landry brings the harder end of the month’s electronic calendar to HIVE at Soho Garden Meydan on November 28. The American DJ and producer has become one of hard techno’s biggest global names, known for intense, high-energy sets and her HEKATE imprint.

BOHEMIA — MITA GAMI — NOVEMBER 28

Closing out the month at Bohemia is Mita Gami, who heads to FIVE Palm Jumeirah on November 28. The producer and DJ brings his psychedelic, groove-led approach to house and electronic music to the beachfront venue for its final November headline session.
